Makeup trends: A/W 2012 berry lips

Berry reds can be seen everywhere this season, from the catwalk to the high-street, so make sure they can be found in your make up case too!

Lighter berry lip shades, like cranberry and claret, are great for a more flirty look when teamed with just a touch of mascara. Darker shades, like burgundy, look glamorous day and night, but are harder to wear as an opaque lipstick, so opt for a matte lip stain instead. Blue tones are striking against fair skin, so try a more rosy shade if your complexion is slightly warmer.

For the perfect pout, I recommend using my MAGIC WAND first. Skim it around your upper and lower lips before you apply your lip colour to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and to lock your lip colour in place.
