Our Anti-Redness Foundation Primer is perfect for anyone looking to disguise high-colour – red, angry-looking or flushed cheeks or a blotchy neck and chest. It’s ideal for those with high-colour due to rosacea, adult acne or the menopause.
This clever, green-toned primer neutralises any redness, creating the perfect canvas before you apply foundation. There’s no need for heavy layers of foundation or concealer to disguise redness , this clever lotion does most of the hard work for you!
The liquid formula is incredibly lightweight and sheer, so it won’t weigh the skin down. Enriched with Hyaluronic Acid and Calendula to protect and nourish skin throughout the day, and have an immediate cooling sensation on application. You can skip prepping skin with too much moisturiser - if you’re having hot flushes or perspiring heavily, too much moisturiser can make your makeup slide off.
Subtle levels of light-reflecting Mica enhance the skin’s glow and soften the appearance fine lines. Skin will look dewy and radiant, never sweaty.
The result: Skin looks less red. Skin feels cool and hydrated. Coverage looks natural and never cakey. You look radiant.
Daniel Sandler created his Anti-Redness Foundation Primer as he found other primers on the market left skin looking dry, drab, unnatural and mask-like. Daniel says, “there’s no reason why a complexion can’t look as natural as possible when trying to disguise high-colour, acne or rosacea. Skin needs to feel comfortable and not tight, so the ingredients in my Anti-Redness Foundation Primer are wonderfully light and leave the sheerest finish, which is important when you’re layering foundation on top. People have busy lives and don’t want to keep touching up makeup as it can end up looking heavy or cakey. I really hope that this primer will help you feel more confident and happier with how you look.”

Must be applied under liquid or cream foundation/base. Gently dispense one small pump’s worth of product onto the back of your hand and then apply to your face using fingertips, blending well until evenly distributed. Apply more, if necessary, to areas that tend to look angry/hotter/redder throughout the day, not forgetting to blend beyond the jawline onto your neck and chest if those areas develop high colour or blotches too. Finally, apply your makeup as normal. Easily removed with makeup cleanser.

I really wanted to love this after reading the great reviews and watching Daniel’s tutorials. I’m in my early 60s . My skin used to be oily but over the years is now combination with the classic T-zone. I have redness with some broken capillaries as well as open pores and some acne scarring from my teenage years. I had used anti redness creams in the past but disliked them because they were too thick and heavy.I decided to buy this because it is also a primer.. I thought that the combination of the anti-redness and the primer sounded perfect. Unfortunately for me it wasn’t to be. The consistency of the green cream is lovely and light weight and yet with good cover of the red areas but for me as a primer it just didn’t work well. I found it difficult to blend the foundation properly and it just didn’t “sit right “on my face . I only used a little moisturiser as recommended and used Daniel’s Invisible Radiance foundation which I’d gotten a few days before receiving the A-R and had already tried that and it was lovely with my moisturiser and usual primer.I’ve since tried it with various combinations of no moisturiser and Daniel’s foundation and with/ without moisturiser my usual Estée Lauder double wear foundation . I’m disappointed because I have only recently started using Daniel Sandler make up and absolutely love everything I’ve bought . I should have tried the sample of the A-R first so it’s my mistake really. I’m sure for other skin types it would be perfect but unfortunately not mine.
This Anti-redness foundation primer is fabulous and only a dab is needed, so you are really getting your money's worth here. Yet another superb product. I just love how DS primers, concealers and foundations give you that even coverage.
It works, not like those awful green creams from the 90s, this doesn't make you look grey or cream, it just works brilliantly under foundation to hide the redness of my rosacea.
