Instructions for First use : Pull the cap straight off and avoid twisting the base as this will expose more pencil. There is enough pencil for your first application. Subsequent uses : Twist the base until only about 1-2mm of the product is visible. If you twist it out too far, the pressure of application will cause the lead to snap off. In general, keeping the tip short is the best way to prevent the product from snapping off while you are using it. The liner will glide onto skin perfectly at room temperature but if the pencil is cold, gently warm it first. This warms up the wax and ensures the colour glides onto your eyelid without tugging on your skin. To apply the liner, rest your pinky finger on your cheek to steady your hand. Instead of drawing one long line, make a series of small, connected dashes right along the base of your eyelashes starting from the outer corner. Once you’ve applied the pencil around the eye, it can be smudged with a brush as long as this is done within 45 seconds of application or the pencil will set in place and be budge proof. The pencil can be applied along the upper lash line, under the lower lashes, the inner corner, to tight line inside the upper, inner lash line, and also inside the inner lower eye rim. When you are finished, twist the product back down into the tube so the tip is protected. Importantly, snap the cap back on firmly until you hear a click to prevent the air from drying out the pencil. Can be easily removed using an oil based eye makeup remover or oil based cleanser.
