With our Invisible Veil Blotting Powder, now in an upgraded formula, you can ensure that your face will be shine-free. This innovative pressed mattifying face powder has a light-weight, transparent formula which leaves an invisible matte finish that helps to maintain the skin’s hydration levels. The blotting powder won’t cake, dry out your skin or change the colour of your foundation and can even be applied on naked skin. It can also be used to enhance contour when applied under cheekbones after applying blusher.
This product is ideal for keeping your face looking shine-free in photos (perfect for brides) while locking in the colour of your makeup. Our blotting powder, with its mirrored lid and powder puff, is perfect for touch-ups, so keep it in your handbag so you can always be camera ready.
The velvety feeling adapts to all skin types and is so lightweight that you will barely even feel it on your face. Since the formula is colourless the Invisible Veil Blotting Powder suitable for all skin tones.
The formula contains caring anti-oxidant ingredients Vitamins C & E, which help to prevent skin cell ageing. This lessens the action of free radicals and keeps your skin looking young for longer.
As with the whole range at Daniel Sandler, this product was not tested on animals. We are proudly cruelty free.
Apply after you have applied all cream and liquid formula makeup products (foundation, blusher and bronzer) - powders sit well on top of these products but not underneath them.
Apply sparingly using the powder puff (included) or a brush. Apply to areas of high shine (T-zone, chin) and under the eyes to set your concealer in place.
Our top tip: after contouring, sweep under cheekbones to gives the illusion of a “mini-lift”.

I got this as my pot of loose DS veil powder ran out. The compact is a nice size and the applicator feels quality, but I generally use a brush. Leaves a super matte finish that looks 'done'.
I had been using a sublime, loose, translucent powder for years - then it was discontinued and I and other women around the globe were bereft. I've spent a small fortune (hundreds of pounds) in the last two years trying to find a comparable replacement and failed. This DS powder is the best I've found so far in terms of giving a natural look and despite its ivory colour, not changing the colour of my base (DS primer + tinted moisturiser). I can't give it 5 stars though for the following reasons: (a) on hot days I have to blot my face with tissue at lunchtime (I haven't had to do that for 30+ years) as I don't want to apply more powder (my old powder easily lasted 18 hours); (b) the square container makes it very hard to get the product out of the corners when it's all used up in the centre; (c) the powder left in the corners cracks up and makes a mess; (d) it's not loose (I would love it if DS created a finely-milled, loose version of this powder in a round pot). All that said, this is my second order of this powder and I shall continue to use it unless I stumble upon a better replacement for the holy grail of powders that is no more.
I was lucky to win this beauty, and I'm surprised it's my favourite- noticeably soft-focuses my dry skin so it's smooth looking and slightly velvety, especially over bigger cheek pores; sets my foundation and enhances longevity; reduce oils from my sunblock instantly with no added texture; didn't leave a cast on my light olive skin. Very impressed because it weirdly enhanced the coverage of my foundation even though it's transparent. Thank you😍 (Picture also showing Watercolour Liquid Blush in 'So Pretty' over foundation)
